To be an influencer that reflects positivity and kindness is a great quality. Ever since I’ve taken this big responsibility of influencing others positively, I have discovered so many new things about me. My work as an influencer is not just to introduce you to the powerful benefits of positive thinking, but to live my intentions, and to be an example of this transformation of what it looks like!
The simplest mantra to creating an influential effect is to, “treat others the way you want to be treated. To be intentional of your actions, because even the smallest of the actions create ripples.
How to simply create a positive, powerful ripple, and influence others to do so too? Well, it’s not that simple as it looks, but it is not impossible either!
Ever since I discovered my purpose, and was confident about my passions, all I wanted to do was “create.” To create powerful ideas to keep myself motivated every single day, to create reasons to express myself to others, and to create the ripple effects of love, kindness, and care in the world.
“Each decision we make, each action we take, is born out of an intention.” ~Sharon Salzberg
I love this powerful quote by author Sharon. This gives me reasons to ponder on everything I think, do, and say. It’s because each of action is followed by a ripple of reactions; and this gives the opportunity to others to react and or agree with us! This process force us to think about the choices we make in our everyday life. All these choices and decisions influence our life and everyone else’s life with whome we are connected!
We cannot avoid the fact that we’re all part of this whole system of universe. So the kind of energy we bring with us, definitely matters!
Our actions affect others inadvertently. It leave behind the kind of energy we share with others. And then this energy moves around creating good, kind, or bad, and ugly ripples of the influences.
It is very important to understand where you’re coming from, fear or love? And what are you going to offer to the world? When you become meticulous about the choices you make in any moment, you’ll have a comprehensive idea of what kind of ripples you’re letting out everywhere.
Being an influencer is not just about leading others to change, but to be authentic about the kind of changes you’re mirroring in your life too!
You can begin by carefully observing the ripples that flow out from you.
So what are those special traits and qualities that differentiates a passionately positive person from others? After closely observing these people as examples in my life, I’ve learned that these influencers are very different and unique in their approach. They understand human values and respect everyone. They don’t lead with ego and attitude, their approach is more kind and empathetic.
Let me quickly share the qualities that you can offer to this universe, by investing your energy and focus into what’s important and that is under your control!
It is time to stop and think about how and where you invest your precious energy? Be aware of not giving your attention and energy to the things that makes you feel worse and powerless!
I’ve learned that in this vast universe, there’s only one thing you can be certain about, and that is improving your own self, working on yourself to bring the changes you wish to see around, and then sharing that energy with everyone! So, here I go!
I feel these traits of a positive influencer can make a difference, and can bring the changes in our future.
1. Lead by example
When you lead by example, you help others believe that, nothing is impossible. When you dedicate your time and energy to make things happen and possible, you create the ripples of hope, power, courage, and ripples of possibility. And you become a person of possibility. You show others how to believe in themselves by believing in yourself.
2. Be kind than being right
For me kindness is a very important human quality. I feel to be being kind is more important than to be right all-the-time. Kindness is often perceived as a very weak quality, but I agree to disagree! You can be kind and still stand firm in your position.
It is really very hard to be a kind leader and or an influencer; especially when people around you are constantly trying to bring you down!
But, I believe leaders who could lead with kindness amidst all the negativity and criticism have has been able to create an internal shift in people’s mindset. And it is absolutely okay to walk alone until you’re able to influence others positively, and until you make them respond to you with excitement, eagerness, and kindness! Step up and bring that change. Be alone, but be true to your values, and lead with good intentions.
3. Be honest about your emotions and accept them
Being a positive leader does not define you as a person-without-any-negative-emotions! It does not mean you have to deny your negative emotions when they show up. In fact, it means you own them, you accept them, and you’re aware that you don’t have to blame others to feel better!
You are in complete control of how you want to feel. This means, you have the power in your hand to control any situation [no matters how it makes you feel!] and getting in touch with them with an intention to heal from inside out, and to change how you feel.
4. Knows that there’s enough room for everyone
As we grow older, we turn ourselves into more competitive, and cut-throat reality; but that’s not the ultimate truth! We’re so inclined towards competition because may be we’re not following the leaders who have worked hard in silence and have been super successful!
When we end up competing and comparing ourselves with others, we invite feelings like jealousy, insecurity, stress and exhaustion.
It is important to work hard, and to give your best to be successful. A simple reminder each day that, “there’s enough room for everyone in this world,” can make us little more kinder, empathetic, thoughtful, and accepting of one another.
Most of us grew up being competitive, because our culture and society has ingrained that quality in us. Competition is perceived as a symbol of power and success, and if you’re not competitive enough to fix your position in the world, you will never be successful! The echo of constant comparisons has turned into a habit in our adulthood, and now we like it that way!
If you can save yourself from being affected by these two infectious diseases of competing and comparing, you will discover your true value, and you’ll be able to manifest your higher self.
When I stopped competing and comparing, I was able to set myself free. In this process, I learned to celebrate both my success and my failures, because this helped me to become more confident and wiser.
“I realized that I can be only my competition. The world needs more kind and caring people. I am enough and worthy, and I don’t need to prove myself to anyone. I will always try to do the best I can, and will let everything else go that does not bring me peace, and freedom to be just me!” ~Epsita-The Positive Window

5. Lead with your story- Share and Be Heard!
When you share your wins, your quits, and your success and failure stories, you give power and hope to others to stand up again! Be authentic when you share your stories, because they inspire others to follow you, to connect with you, and to believe you! Storytelling is a powerful tool to communicate your vision, to help others connect to your idea, and to inspire others towards your commitment. Stories when narrated and shared in an authentic way, can inspire and guide others to follow their purpose and passion.
I really appreciate this article. Specially the 2nd point really made me wonder. It is very important for me to choose the ‘right thing’ and supporting the ‘right situation’. Can you give an example where being kind over being right works?

Hello, Akanksha,
Thank you so much for reading my post, and taking your time to leave me a comment. I was so happy to learn that, you actually asked me a question, and you wanted to know more about about it!
So here’s my answer to why I feel being kind is more important for me to than to be right!
“Being kind means, I care! I care for the person and the relationship we share. And I want to make myself realize that sometimes we act from the place of insecurity and or ego. In spite of knowing that the person is not-right, and is trying to project me as bad, and as a liar, I would choose being kind, and will leave that conversation right then and there, and may be [later can come back and discuss how I felt] let that relationship go, or rest for sometime to avoid any lash out and clashes. If you think you need to let go that person or the relationship [to protect your sanity and inner peace], you must act from a place of acceptance and wisdom, and part with good intentions. Be kind, care, and forgive that person, because when the desire to forgive takes the front seat, the need to be right dissipates, opening the door for a more conscious and healthy connection..”
I hope this answer helps!
Happy to connect with you, Dear <3 Keep in touch!
