Today is International Women’s Day and what we are reminding each other is; “how to reclaim our space in a male dominated society, or gender equality in the workplace!” But that’s not all that’s stopping women from reclaiming their power and from contributing to the society. There’s a deep-rooted need of inclusion, connection, and belonging [between ourselves] that’s missing from the process.
As a woman, I have had always experienced the need to belong, to be included and to be celebrated by other women. The need is that secret level of pushing these women through, when they’re exhausted, avoided by the society, not celebrated anymore being a girl or a women, feeling shamed, judged, and blamed, are heart-broken, not motivated, and feel overwhelmed; and everything else that leave them feeling afraid and small.
We need a common language to create awareness and understanding of each other, which is essential to empower women, and to help them reclaim their space and power in their society, and in this world.
They say that, we rise by lifting others. But this should be every women’s mindset to bring the change we want to see. When you’re given the power, make good use of it to bring the change our society needs, towards encouraging and empowering other women, and to honor the skills, talents, strengths, daily bravery, power and the capacity to look beyond all the obstacles.
Today’s post is in honor of making our voices more powerful, and this can only happen when we support and elevate one another. Rather than fighting aginst each other, it’s time we fight together for a very common cause of acceptance and towards reclaiming our power, without judging or criticizing one another.
From today and every day let’s first celebrate the contributions from different women around you. Let’s strive to create an inclusive environment that brings the power of diversity to life. I can’t do it alone, and so can’t you either! Therefore, let’s create a common voice to encourage and support each other in the journeys we’re on, whichever way possible.
So how do you claim your woman power through creativity? Well, that’s what we’re going to discover in this post. Come along and read further to know how creativity can save you and me from feeling unwanted, lost, and lonely in this big world.
The first step is by manifesting your [creative] power– Which means creating your own circumstances that can define you and display your undeniable space of creativity/creating things that you love the most.
Whether you’ve lost your strength to your society, to your colleagues, to you friends, or to your family, know that you can recover your power. If you’re feeling powerless in your job or in your career, or in your relationships, it’s time you consider your alternatives. Many woman lead their life in the fear of being judged, being ‘not perfect’ and not enough for what others expect them to be. They care more for others than they do for themselves. And they feel it’s never enough for what they do for others; because each effort feels like a new never-ending demand.
Creativity helps you reclaim your power by honing your natural ability to come up with new ideas and the courage to try them out through rediscovering your creative confidence. Creativity opens our mind, and help us solve problems more openly and innovatively. Creativity enables alternative ways of thinking. Through creativity we can nurture togetherness, because it helps us connect us with ourselves and others. Creativity cultivates flow, and being in the flow supports living a life of purpose and freedom.
Reclaim your power by starting to see yourself as the most creative being on earth, who is capable, strong, and a courageous being you were created to be.
Next step is by honoring your authenticity – You must hone your individuality. I believe, creativity is the mirror of your heart. When you decide to share your unique ideas and stories with others, and not try to blend in, you’re honoring your authenticity. How can you become powerful if you’re not authentic?
Authenticity isn’t a weakness. Therefore do not shame any part of your self being. When you are honest with yourself, you can connect with your tribe. By honoring your authentic self you will give courage and strength to others to reclaim their [woman] power. Imagine how powerful we would become if we fight for one another rather than against each other! How powerful we would become if we can unite under kindness, compassion, and encouragement, and support for all women!
The last and most imprtant step is by becoming your own boss- Never settle for anything that’s less than you deserve. Do not settle for a job that undermines your potential simply out of fear and embarrassment. Start taking care of your finances, and learn, or read books to understand how to take care of the financial matters by yourself. Creativity has given me that freedom to express and earn for myself. Find a job or a career that encourages your natural talents and develops your inherent skills.
I am seeing more and more women coming forward these days to start their new journey as business owners and creative entrepreneurs. Either become your own boss and work for yourself your way, or find a job that celebrates you and honor you as a creative talent woman.
Observe the ways your instilled old beliefs about yourself and about the world limit you from reclaiming your power. Let go what no longer serves you. Understand your purpose, and what you stand for. Believe in what you are doing, and don’t let anybody steal your authentic voice. Find and live with the courage to be different, unique, and authentic, to express who you truly are.
To reclaim your [woman]power, be authentic, and conscious of who you are, and why, and what is the reason you’re here. Be confident to take the leap and to land on your feet. Be your won boss, and connect with your kinds.
